CONCERTS
I aim to put on student concerts two or three times a year. Students are encouraged to sing in these but they are not compulsory.
The Christmas concert in December is a collaborative project between my home students and students from Buckland School. Parents enjoy a glass of wine and mince pies while the children perform.
in the summer term, the students perform in one of two smaller showcases, either at Buckland School or in my home village hall.
Student concerts are always hugely rewarding for both the children and for myself. It is also a fantastic opportunity for parents to see the progress that their children are making.
EXAMS
I do not believe that students need to be put through their exams in order to find a sense of achievement. For many students, it is fulfilling enough to just enjoy their singing lessons and discover their own vocal abilities. However, some students wish to work towards their ABRSM exams and, where appropriate, I will teach them through these.
Fees start at £39 plus an accompanist's fee of £20
